This gin distillery began its craft way back in 1793. They are still producing the iconic Plymouth Gin in the same location which you can book a tour of as well as a tasting session in the upstairs cocktail bar.
The Barbican
Plymouth’s iconic vibrant heart with its narrow cobbled streets to explore and individual boutique shops and restaurants to indulge yourself in. Picture postcard views of the harbour and boats await you.
Royal William Yard
This award winning grade 1 listed ex-navel victualling yard is home to a stunning range of leading restaurants, bars, galleries, shops and an eclectic range of local and national events. From a monthly good food market to theatre and outdoor cinemas as well as live music. There is a SUP paddle boarding company that operates from the William Yard so you can enjoy the beautiful coastline.
Plymouth Hoe
Plymouth Hoe is the stunning seafront location of Plymouth. With its iconic lighthouse, ice cream sellers and stunning views out towards Plymouth sound and Drakes Island. There are fantastic restaurants all along the seafront with fresh seafood on offer. You can wild swim in the waters around the Hoe as well as paddle boarding.
British Fireworks Championship
Held in mid August every year the British Fireworks Championship is a brilliant night out. Held over 2 nights on the waterfront near to the iconic Smeatons Tower Lighthouse this event is free to attend and promises to be an incredible spectacle every time.
Plymouth Armed Forces Day
This event is held every year and is an action packed day full of military displays. With field gun races, acrobatic displays and live music.
Flavour Fest
The South Wests largest food and drinks festival held in May every year with over 70 stalls showcasing the very best in regional produce. There are live cooking demonstrations from celebrity chefs as well as live music.
